The short version

The tools on utils.directory run entirely in your browser. Text you convert, numbers you calculate and images you transform are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. We couldn't see them even if we wanted to.

Information we do not collect

• Files processed by the image tools (they stay on your device).
• Text you type into converters, formatters or generators.
• Account information — there are no accounts.

Information that may be collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit — in server logs used for security and abuse prevention. This site is served as static files, so those logs contain nothing about what you do inside a tool.

Cookies

The tools themselves do not use cookies. Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. If advertising is shown on this site, the ad network may use cookies or similar technologies to measure impressions, prevent fraud and (depending on your region and consent choices) personalize ads.
